I TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards sono uno dei premi di maggior prestigio all’interno del panorama fotografico. Ogni anno vengono premiati quelli che dovrebbero essere i migliori dispositivi usciti sul mercato durante l’anno precedente, e anche in questo 2016 sono stati selezionati i vincitori. Di rivoluzioni non ce ne sono state: i brand più importanti continuano ad imporsi sugli altri monopolizzando le varie categorie e i premi più ambiti. Inoltre sembra che per accontentare un po’ tutti, ma stiamo parlando comunque dei brand più potenti, siano state create delle categorie apposite in modo da poter premiare più prodotti possibili, senza così far torto a nessuno.

In questa categoria troviamo il riassunto di quanto detto prima, Sony e Pentax riescono a vincere un solo premio su sei totali, i restanti se li spartiscono Nikon e Canon. Nikon devo dire che però li merita, le due reflex che ha lanciato sono una rivoluzione della tradizionale “fotocamera Nikon”. Anche se in effetti è solo una rivoluzione interna: sul mercato le features che presentano sono presenti da tanto tempo su fotocamere entry-level, o in generale di fascia più bassa.
